Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene Plastic(ABS)
* Custom made ABS parts, shipped right to your door!
* ABS material is a newly created material and one of the most produced materials today. It has a wide range of uses. Its low melting point is conducive to injection molding and 3D printing, and it is a thermoplastic polymer material with high strength, good toughness, and easy processing and molding.
* Available thicknesses are .125″, .187″, and .234″
* CNC routed plastic (+/- .005″ cutting tolerance)
* 2-4 day lead time before shipping
* Customized ABS plastic products or parts
* ABS plastic is a sturdy thermoplastic that is often used in prototyping due to its low cost and high strength-to-density ratio. The appearance of ABS is opaque ivory colored particles. Its products can be colored into various colors and have a high glossiness of 90%.
* ABS is a versatile general-purpose plastic with outstanding physical and mechanical and thermal properties, widely used in household appliances, panels, masks, combinations, fittings, etc., especially household appliances, such as washing machines, air conditioners, refrigerators, fans, etc., the amount of use is very large.
What can you make with ABS Plastic?
As with most plastics, you need to protect your custom ABS parts from high-heat situations due to its low continuous operation temperature (about 150 degrees F). In the right application, however, this lightweight and low-cost plastic can bring a new kind of strength to your project.
Be sure to read up on our design guidelines for CNC routing materials as the tooling requirements are different from laser cutting.

3D Printing and Prototyping ABS.
Use fused deposition modeling for the 3D printing process rather than other "printing" technologies (e.g. SLA, SLS, SLM) because ABS parts are readily available. Our FDM machines use ABS plastic, which allows us to ensure that there are no major delays in the transition from prototype to production due to material issues. People choose it because it is a great intermediate option for a large number of applications.
Typical Use
Since ABS comes the closest to the material of real production models, it’s primarily used for fully functional applications including snap-fits, end-use components and prototypes for form, fit and function testing.
Our CNC cut ABS is guaranteed
We guarantee awesome quality parts. If you’re not 100% happy, we’ll give you a refund or remake on the spot – no questions, no hassle.

Plastic, composite, and wood materials cut on our CNC machine will have small tabs.
These tabs hold your parts in place while being cut to ensure the best accuracy possible. Click below to learn what to expect and how to best design with these tabs in mind.
Technology
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a filament-based 3D printing technology where a temperature-controlled head extrudes a thermoplastic material layer by layer onto a build platform. The principle is simple and can be compared to that of a glue gun, where the stick of glue is heated up until it melts and is then pushed through a fine nozzle at the front of the glue gun.
